The SF 2248, F 55, DIN 1.4501, AISI 2195 Super Duplex Steel Bar has higher corrosion resistance and mechanical properties, and especially the toughness at cryogenic temperatures compared to other types of ferritic, austenitic and duplex steels.

These bars are used on deepwater offshore platforms.
